Nope, we didn't go on vacation.
Well I did, of sorts. I got to go visit the hospital this week. Yippee! (Note the dripping sarcasm...)
We had a short stint with PTL, or Pre-term labor. Definitely not a good thing at this stage in the game- or any stage for that matter!
Well, I stayed for a few days. They got my uterus (grumpy old thing!) calmed down with Terbutaline, thank goodness I didn't have to go on the Mag, I've only heard horror stories about that! Hopefully I'll never have to, thought the odds are stacked against me.
I'm now 19 weeks along, and only 6 weeks away from our first goal. 24 weeks is when the babies become viable, and the earliest possible time they could be delivered. Hopefully we'll make it far past that! The next goals after that are 28 weeks, then 30, then 32. It would be amazing if we could make it even farther, to 34. Every goal we make it to decreases the chance of the babies having disabilities. Before 28 weeks, every week makes a major jump in just the chance of them surviving.
So please, keep the good thoughts coming for us!

I just ran across your blog. I have 11 month old quads. we made it to 34 weeks and the babies were awesome. Keep staying positive and I hope all will be well. Good Luck
I forgot to mention, we also have GGBG quads!
Hey there! Oh girl the dreaded Terb shots to calm down the contractions! The stuff works wonders but makes your heart want to leap out of your chest! I'll pray for you that you don't end up on Mag...no fun! No fun! No Fun! I was on it just once & ugggggh as I sit & type this my skin began to crawl...no joke!!! Your names are adorable! A positive attitude is EVERYTHING & later on a good cry & throwing things every once in awhile helps as well! lol! I made it to 30 weeks & 2 days & our babies did beautifully! You'll get there...just keep your eye on the 32+ week prize & I'll be thinking of you!!!
