Sorry I've been MIA for so long!
I can't thank everyone enough for the emails and comments that have been pouring in. You guys ROCK! It's also nice to keep me entertained. What can I saw, after watching 3 seasons Grey's Anatomy gets a little old. :)
Things are going well here. I'm about 20 1/2 weeks now, and have another appointment with the peri in a few days.
The babies are starting to really kick now, and I can feel it!
It's getting harder to sleep, and very boring laying on my side all day, but I know it will be worth it in the end!
So, thank you for all the prayers, and keep them coming!
I'll try to do a better job of keeping the blog updated!

Bear with me!
I'm messing around with the HTML and stuff on the blog to keep myself occupied. Things might look a little strange or ugly while I get it figured out. I want to thank Hilary for all her help in instructing me how to do this and helping me fix my mistakes! Thanks a ton, Hilary!
Alright folks, there seems to be some glitch going on with blogger that didn't let me change the font color. I bet THAT was easy to read! So I resorted to changing the background color, but hopefully the glitch will be fixed soon.
Thanks for your patience!

Help!!!
For other MoM's
Generosity!
I really can't believe how people have stepped up and been so generous since we've been expecting quads.
We recieved the BIG ticket item 2 days ago. Ben's office got together and bought us the Runabout® Quad Stroller! These cost over $1,000 and were going to really set us back. I can't believe how generous they are! Thank you so much, everybody!
We also had my baby shower the day after. It was tons of fun and all the gifts are so cute. I can't wait until the babies get here so we can start using them!
My sister and mom also got together and organized a volunteer schedule and list. The first 3 months are already filled for all shifts! Thank you everybody!
For the rest of you who have been asking how to help out - for now we are set on basically all items and volunteers. Instead, we will be putting ads up here soon, and if you'd like to help out, just click on those! It'll help us stockpile money for diapers and college for the babies! :)
Again, I just have to thank everybody! We couldn't have asked for better friends and family!

Names
1. First off, I'd like the thank "anonymous" who made us this great new banner. We love it, don't all of you?
2. Blogger had some weird glitch that deleted all the earlier comments. I don't know what's up with that, or if they're coming back. Weird.
Anyway, before it disappeared, we had someone ask us how we decided on the babies' names.
Molly is the only first name that is a family name. We knew that that was a name we were going to use. Eleanor is also a family name, but we decided that it would be a middle name because we just weren't in love with it quite enough to give it as a first name.
All the other names are just ones we liked and picked out. What got hard was putting what names, where!
We already had Max and Molly's names set before we noticed that they both also had E middle names. We didn't want to do more "M" first names because we didn't want to be too "matchy-matchy". So, we decided to do E middle names for all the kids. So, we decided to use Kristin as a first name, but then switched the middle name with Molly's. (Is this confusing yet?) We were absolutely stumped on the last name. We had names we liked, but had a different "vibe" then the rest. While we didn't want the names to match, we did want them to sound like they belonged together. Finally, we hit on Layla and fell in love with it. Then we had even more difficulty deciding on another E middle name that we liked. We FINALLY decided on Ellery. And that was that!

Due for an update
I suppose it's time for another post for you all.
I'm starting to get HUGE! I've been trying to make a comparison of what it looks like I have shoved in my belly... the only only I can come up with is 4 babies. ;)
We really need to buy a camera... any camera! The last one broke just a few weeks before we got pregnant, and we haven't replaced it yet, which we'll need to do before the babies get here.
I'm now on full bedrest - which means I only get to be out of bed (or laying down, actually. I spend all day on the couch) for 10 minutes a day. I have a plastic lounge chair in the shower so I don't have to stand, and eat most of my meals laying down. We're not taking ANY chances with these munchkins!
The babies are getting HUGE! I don't have the exact weights with me, but the babies all weighed around 10 or 11 ounces - still keeping up with the size of a singleton! 3 were about 6.5 inches long, but (I remember this!) Layla is long, at 7 inches! No good ultrasound pictures for me to scan in this time (how's that? I have a scanner, but not a camera - as long as someone else takes the pictures, I can get them to you!), because the docs were mainly focusing on looking at body parts. Maybe next time!

An interesting trip
Nope, we didn't go on vacation.
Well I did, of sorts. I got to go visit the hospital this week. Yippee! (Note the dripping sarcasm...)
We had a short stint with PTL, or Pre-term labor. Definitely not a good thing at this stage in the game- or any stage for that matter!
Well, I stayed for a few days. They got my uterus (grumpy old thing!) calmed down with Terbutaline, thank goodness I didn't have to go on the Mag, I've only heard horror stories about that! Hopefully I'll never have to, thought the odds are stacked against me.
I'm now 19 weeks along, and only 6 weeks away from our first goal. 24 weeks is when the babies become viable, and the earliest possible time they could be delivered. Hopefully we'll make it far past that! The next goals after that are 28 weeks, then 30, then 32. It would be amazing if we could make it even farther, to 34. Every goal we make it to decreases the chance of the babies having disabilities. Before 28 weeks, every week makes a major jump in just the chance of them surviving.
So please, keep the good thoughts coming for us!

Enough with the questions!
Okay, I'll be obliging with more details, you can all stop pestering me now!
1. No, the babies are not all identical. Since we have boys and girls, it would be impossible for them to all be identical. As far as we know, none of our girls are identical, but it is a possibility. We won't know until birth.
2. No, we aren't 100% certain on the sexes, but we are as certain as you can be unless you do an amnio. We'll just have to wait for the birth!
3. I am only 17 weeks along right now. Yes, the babies are guaranteed to be delivered early. The norm is 30 - 32 weeks gestation, or 2 1/2 - 2 months early, for quads.
I'll finish this Q&A in another post. I'm ready for a nap! :)

The big reveal!
Are you ready for the revealing?! We sure are!
#1

Baby A: Girl!
Kristin Eleanor
#2

Baby B: Girl!
Molly Elizabeth
#3

Baby C: Boy!
Max Everett
#4 (Unfortunately we did not get a good picture of Baby D this time)
Baby D: Girl!
Layla Ellery
We couldn't be more excited! I think Ben was secretly hoping for more boys, but at least we got one! *Please, no "sympathies" for having 3 girls. We love all our children, no matter what sex. We are happy with what we were blessed with!

Why are we all here?
So the question is: Why are we blogging? And why are you here reading?
Well, because we're expecting QUADRUPLETS! We're just about to find out sexes, and can't wait to tell everyone.
Stay tuned for frequent (okay, semi-frequent, I'll admit it) updates about our growing family!
